Prince George’s Council Member Rodney C. Streeter represents Councilmanic District 7.  He was sworn in for a four-year term in December of 2018.  During his first year in office, his colleagues through unanimously vote, appointed as Vice Chair of the Prince George’s County Council.  Additionally, he was Chair of the General Assembly Committee.  From 2020 through 2022, he has been Chair of the Committee on Government Operations and Fiscal Policy (GOFP) as well as a member of the Committee on Health, Human Services, and Public Safety Committee. Member, Board of Health; Council appointee to the Police Reform Taskforce.

Council Member Streeter is grounded in the notion that government must be responsive to the needs of its citizens, responsible and accountable with citizen tax dollars, and committed to enhancing services for all sectors of the community most especially our most vulnerable.

 

He is a graduate of Leadership Prince George’s County, and he has received numerous community service awards among them the prestigious Phyllis Campbell Newsome Public Policy Leadership Award, Center for Nonprofit Advancement.
